- Brian
- I'm a former IT consultant from New Jersey who served as a US Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon from 2006-2009. I taught computer science and English classes at a small university in the village of Nanga Eboko for two years and then worked as a small business development volunteer in Buea. This blog is a chronicle of my experiences there. I hope you enjoy it.

Sweet blog, Brian. I'm starting to worry about this lizard, ah...fascination you seem to have going, though. I mean, ever since Mbalmayo you've been like, "hey hang on a second, there's a lizard on that wall. I want to take his picture." That was six months ago. Are you sure you're not taking mephaquine recreationally? Just some friendly concern from a fellow PCV.
Looks like this is a Common Agama (latin name Agama agama). Google it, looks like there are a couple of color phases. Cool!
