The Home Town Connection

I used to live near this church:

The writer did make one mistake. Yaoundé is the capital of Cameroon, not Douala. Douala is the country's largest city and is the most important center of foreign trade and investment.

Finally got on line - after three computer crashes and one more with my new computer- they finally figured out (after four repair bills) that my printer was doing something - I guess like a short circuit- to the computer. So I need to buy a new printer - soon. And, hopefully I will be back in business.

Your pictures are great - and you look pretty good too. I also enjoyed looking at our Corps links. What a great looking bunch of people! You all do yourselves proud.

There are two packages that are somewhere on their way to you. The first was sent the first week of December and the second went out early last week -basically shoes, foods, and some of your holiday requests. Let me know if you get them - I have six months from time of mailing to file a lost claim.

We are all fine here - so is your sister. Uncle Frank is Uncle Frank. Your cousin Joe went to Iraq for his fourth tour and his wife goes in May for her third tour. It just doesn't end for them. Ethel is losing more weight and is now in the 90 pound range. Not good.

If and when you get a chance send some pictures of your home , town
and the school. Stay well and remember you are loved. Mom

You actually went to that minister's house. The time we all went to hear Kerry speak on the phone? That's was Dana's house [or the Episcopal Church's]. He's a very good person and great representative for Christians. I've been to a number services at his church and always found them engaging. It's an increasingly small world, isn't it? [Joking contrast intended]
